BERRY GOOD PRODUCTIONS PROUDLY PRESENTS A FAMILY CONCERT AND CLOWN SHOW FEATURING Andy Z AND THE ANDYLAND BAND & DAFFY DAVE AND ALSO THE TREEFORT GANG AT THE COYOTE POINT MUSEUM SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 20 AT 12:30PM.
Andy Z is a Bay Area children's performer, singer/songwriter and educator whose music touches the hearts of people of all ages. Andy will have children smiling, singing and dancing as he takes them on a tour of Andyland. His story/adventure-based performances feature traditional, original and contemporary songs that often incorporate themes from his 2004 Parents Choice Foundation award winning albums, "Welcome To Andyland" and "Pockets". Andy draws children into the story with a mix of sing-a-longs and pure body movement songs. Musical genres include rock, classic brit pop, classic kid, country, hip-hop, the blues, and Irish music.
Andy Z shares that he has, "always believed that children have an inherent connection to music that can only be weakened by lack of exposure. Music and song have the power to heal and aid in a child's development, and I'm thrilled to be able to offer this to kids and adults. I'm also glad that there are other entertainers like Daffy Dave who are also dedicated to bettering the lives of children, and that we get to co-create this special concert for them."
With the characters from his local television show, "Daffy Dave's Tree Fort", Lizzy Bee, Dusty Buckles, Dolly Pop and Flyin' Ryan, Daffy Dave creates a magical, fun environment for children visiting his "treehouse." Daffy Dave makes most of his living by doing performances for children typically from ages 2 to 8. Most of us don't think of clowns as educators, but a successful clown can have a pretty big impact on his young audience. His themes are simple, important messages that every child should learn -- the value of song and dance, cleaning up after yourself, personal hygiene, and, most importantly, how to have fun while you are doing these things and so much more.
Award winner and local favorite, Daffy Dave is also a strong advocate of dancing for both kids and adults. Dave sneaks dancing, body movement and silly songs into his routine. Voted "Best Party Entertainer for Children" by Bay Area Parent Readers, Daffy Dave will bring laughter and good cheer to the Coyote Point Museum, not to mention mysterious inspiration of the ridiculous kind! At this event, Daffy Dave will be releasing his brand-new 4th album, "Bedtime Stories and Lullabies"!
Daffy Dave and Andy Z will have CDs (new releases and old favorites), videos, and merchandise on sale at shows. Kids can get autographs from their favorite performer! A portion of ticket sales will be donated to Save The Music, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing music appreciation and education for local schools. This event will be filmed.
